Birthday Banners Materials
Your banner is made with the finest materials available and printed using state-of-the-art, large format printers for vibrant colors that pop. All banners are manufactured and printed in the USA.
Exact sizes of banners cannot be guaranteed. Vinyl is a temperature sensitive material, and some fluctuation can occur due to heat application in printing, finishing, and outside climate. Please note our acceptable size variance is up to 1/2 inch per linear foot (ex. A 5' banner could finish with a 2.5" variance). If your banner needs to be precise, please ask your Customer Service Representative to discuss your specific application.

Standard Tack Vinyl: Standard tack vinyl can be used both indoors and outdoors, with an outdoor lifespan of 3 to 5 years when properly installed and maintained.
Extreme Tack Vinyl: Extreme Tack vinyl is white calendered vinyl material with a high tack adhesive that is specifically designed to adhere to low energy surfaces.

Birthday Banner Printing
Birthday banners are digitally printed in full color. You can select one of our banner templates to customize in the online designer with our backgrounds, clip art, and text. You can also upload your own images.
Birthday Banner Sizes
Exact sizes of banners cannot be guaranteed. Vinyl is a temperature sensitive material, and some fluctuation can occur due to heat application in printing, finishing, and outside climate. Please note our acceptable size variance is up to 1/2 inch per linear foot (ex. A 5 ft banner could finish with a 2.5 inch variance). If your banner size needs to be precise, please ask your Customer Service Representative to discuss your specific application.
The maximum print for double sided banners is 150 square feet. If your banner is over 150 square feet, please contact us.

| Is a one inch fold, heat welded hem with grommets typically added every 2 -4 feet. |
A thick weblike material (similar to what is used in seatbelts) is heat welded to the perimeter of the banner to provide additional reinforcement. |
A triangular piece of vinyl is applied to the corners of the banner and secured with grommets to improve both the strength and durability in the corners of the banner. |
A pocket or sleeve added to the banner to allow for a dowel or pole to run through it for support. When selecting pole pockets there will be no increase in the finished size of the banner. |
Heat Welded Hems & Grommets
Hems consist of one inch of the vinyl banner material folded over to the backside of the banner and heated together to form a clean and strong one-inch hem. We recommend having hems for all banners to increase the strength and durability of the banner.
You will have the following options when selecting hems and grommets for your banners:
| Top and Bottom Only Hems - This is our standard finishing option for vinyl banners. The top and bottom of every banner will be heat welded and grommeted. |
All Four Sides Hems - This is another common finishing option for vinyl banners. All 4 sides of the banner will be heat welded and grommeted. |

Pole Pockets
Pole pockets consist of 2 inches, 3 inches, or 4 inches of material wrapped around the sides, top or bottom of the banner. The vinyl banner material is folded over the back side of the banner similar to hems, but there is room for a pole or rod to go through the pocket.
You will have the following pole pocket finishing options for your banners:
- 2" Pole Pockets - fits a pole 3/4" in diameter
- 3" Pole Pockets - fits a pole 1 1/4" in diameter
- 4" Pole Pockets - fits a pole 1 1/2" in diameter
By selecting pole pockets, there will be no increase in the finished size of your banner. Pole pockets can either be 2", 3" or 4". We don't recommend having any text or images within 3 inches of the edge of the banner when you select pole pockets.
**Pole Pockets are not available with reinforced hems or corners. Reinforced corners are not available on banners under 2 feet in height.
Reinforced Corners
Reinforced corners provide extra strength for the banner. The corners have a reinforced hem and are grommeted to each corner of the banner. You can not have reinforced corners with pole pockets.
Reinforced Hems
Reinforced hems are a 1 3/16" PVC coated webbing which increases the strength of the banner. The vinyl banner is cut to size and the reinforcements are heat welded to the backside of the banner.
We recommend having reinforced hems and reinforced corners on banners over 32 square feet that will be used outdoors or if the banner will be used in a high-wind environment.
**You can not have reinforced hems with pole pockets.
Artwork Guidelines
The file that prints best is .eps converted to outline. We can also print high resolution .pdf or .jpg files. If you are unsure of the quality of your files, our professional graphic designers will be more than happy to help you.
Artwork/Order Proofs
If you would like to double-check your order for correct information, requesting an order proof will allow you to do that. Your order proof will include a low-resolution image of your artwork and a summary of your order (including pricing), as well as your billing and shipping information. Please note that if you request a proof, we will not send your order into production until you have sent your approval.
Color Match Proof System
If your project is color critical, we recommend using our Color Match Proof System, as this is the best way to ensure the color match for your specific project. For more details, please contact a customer service representative.

We provide flexible production time ranges for you to choose from. Because it's important for you to have ultimate control over your order, our production times range from one to five business days. This allows you to make the final decision on when you need your order.

Payment
All banners must be paid for prior to being put into production. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. We also accept checks, which must be received before your order is put into production. For more information on check orders, see this article on our blog.
We will not charge your credit card until you have approved your order.
General Shipping Guidelines
If you have any questions about shipping, please contact customer service at (320) 391-5300 prior to ordering. Unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering, your order will be shipped via UPS Ground. We offer a 1–3 day ground shipment to 90% of the United States.
You will receive a tracking number once your package has been shipped.
Shipping prices are determined by the weight and destination of the package. Additional shipping charges apply to large orders.
After products have been shipped, all shipping company terms and conditions apply for lost or delayed packages. We will not refund the banner cost if UPS or any other shipping company has a delay in your package.
Delays due to natural disasters or anything beyond our control will not result in shipping refunds. If the product is damaged in shipping, the damaged goods must be returned, and then a replacement product will be sent.
Lost packages will be replaced after the shipping company confirms loss. This generally takes 7–10 business days after the initial scheduled delivery.
International shipping Notes:
For international shipments, customers must provide both shipping labels and customs documentation. Currently, we only accept international shipping labels from USPS and UPS. For more details, please contact our customer service team.

Yes, the minimum order amount is one banner, but there is a bulk discount, so the more banners ordered then the bigger the discount.

Is my Birthday Banner waterproof?
Party banners are printed on durable, weather-resistant vinyl which is designed to brave most elements.
What is the best way to clean my Birthday banner?
If your banner is exposed to the elements, it might require occasional cleaning. We recommend using lukewarm water and dish soap to clean a vinyl birthday banner. Avoid using abrasive cleaning materials like power washers and brushes to prevent scratching the full-color prints, and instead use soft towels.
How do I best store my banner to keep reusing it?
To ensure longevity, roll the banner up and keep the printed side out to protect the inks. To prevent the banner from bending, store it in the box it was shipped in. You should also keep your banner out of extreme heat. Avoid windows or other direct sunlight to prevent the banner from fading.
Does my Birthday Banner come with grommets?
Yes. Our standard finishing option is heat welded hems with grommets. Brass, stainless steel or plastic grommets are placed in all four corners and every 2-4 feet around the banner perimeter.
