If you intend to use your banner indoors, then we suggest ordering it in the matte finish. We suggest this option because interior lighting tends to glare or glint off of gloss finished banners. However, both finishing options are perfectly suitable for indoor and outdoor use. If you choose to create a custom banner with mesh or fabric material, you will be redirected to the corresponding pages. What are Standard Size Banners?
Standard size banners are just the most common sized vinyl banners that people tend to order. We also provide various types of standard banner materials. These materials include mesh, fabric, canvas, and vinyl banners. The custom size of these banners range from smaller banners sized 1' x 1' to large banners sized up to 8' x 50'.
What material are they made of?
For standard size banners, you will have 5 types of banner material options. These options include 13-oz premium matte vinyl, 13-oz premium gloss vinyl, 18-oz extra heavy duty matte vinyl, 8 oz. PVC polyester vinyl mesh, and polyester fabric.

Our standard size banners come in either 13-oz or 18-oz. The 13-oz vinyl material is great for both indoor and outdoor use.
What standard vinyl banner sizes do you offer?
Our standard banner sizes can range from 1’ x 1’ all the way to 8’ x 50’. Some of our most common standard display banner sizes are:

Do these banners come double-sided?
Yes! Our double sided banners are available in 3 material choices – 13-oz. gloss vinyl, 13-oz. matte vinyl, and 18-oz. extra heavy duty vinyl.
This gives you options for both appearance (gloss or matte) as well as durability (18-oz.). Double sided banners have a max print size of 6’ x 30’.
Will these custom banners work for trade shows?
Yes, they will work well indoors at trade shows and other events. They’re printed in full CMYK color, so your images and messaging will look great and grab attention at any standard banner ad size.
Installation & Product Care FAQs
How do I Install my banner?
Hems and grommets or pole pockets can be added to your standard size banner. We recommend placing ball bungees on ALL grommets provided if you select hems and grommets. This will spread the tension uniformly, resulting in a banner that is as clean and wrinkle-free as possible. Our standard grommet size for banners is 1/2 inches in diameter.
Our pole pockets are another way to hang your new banner. There will be no increase in the end size of your banner if pole pockets are chosen. Pole pockets come in three sizes: 2", 3", and 4". When choosing pole pockets, we don't recommend placing any text or images within 3 inches of the banner's edge.

How do I properly store my banner?
When your custom vinyl banner is not being used, make sure that you roll the banner up. Keep the printed side out when you roll the banner to protect the inks. To prevent the banner from bending, you should keep the box it was shipped in and store it in there. You should also keep your banner out of extreme heat. Avoid windows or other direct sunlight.
How do I remove wrinkles from my standard size banners?
After receiving your vinyl banner, you may notice it has some creases or wrinkles. This is due to it being rolled up and stored for shipping. If you wish to get rid of these unsightly wrinkles from your custom vinyl banner, we recommend two options.
Option one: Unroll your vinyl banners and place them in the hot sun for a few hours. The wrinkles should come out.
Option two: We recommend using a clothing steamer with a refillable water tank.
Use the steamer much like you would with a piece of clothing and this steamer should take the wrinkles right out! We recommend using a clothing steamer with a refillable water tank.

Are they wind resistant banners?
In a light breeze or small gust, yes they should work fine. If you need a banner for a super windy location, then try our mesh vinyl material. Mesh is designed to allow air-flow through the material to prevent tearing. Our mesh banners can also be ordered in standard outdoor banner sizes.
Are banners easy to clean?
Yes. If your banner succumbs to the elements or gets dirty, then just get some lukewarm water and a cloth to wipe it off. You can also add soap, but avoid using harsh chemicals.
