Artwork Guidelines

Vector based file types will print best, such as .eps files — with fonts converted to outlines. We can also print high-resolution .pdf or .jpg files. If you are unsure of the quality of your files, our professional graphic designers will be more than happy to help you.

Artwork / Order Proofs

If you would like to double-check your order for correct information, requesting an order proof will allow you to do that. Your order proof will include a low-resolution image of your artwork, a summary of your order (including pricing), as well as your billing and shipping information. Please note that if you request a proof, we will not send your order into production until you have sent your approval.

Color Match Proof System

If your project is color critical, we recommend using our Color Match Proof System, as this is the best way to ensure the color match for your specific project. For more details, please contact a customer service representative.

About Vinyl Banners

All full-color banners are printed on high-quality 13oz scrim vinyl. 13oz vinyl is rated for both indoor and outdoor use. Outdoor banners can last several years with proper handling, installation and storage.

Full-color vinyl banners are digitally printed up to 8' by 50' without seams.

Exact sizes of banners cannot be guaranteed. Vinyl is a temperature sensitive material, and some fluctuation can occur due to heat application in printing, finishing, and outside climate. Please note our acceptable size variance is up to 1/2 inch per linear foot (ex. A 5' banner could finish with a 2.5" variance). If your banner needs to be precise, please ask your Customer Service Representative to discuss your specific application.

Pole Pockets

By selecting pole pockets, there will be no increase in the finished size of your banner. Pole pockets can either be 2", 3" or 4". We don't recommend having any text or images within 3 inches of the edge of the banner when you select pole pockets.

Pole Pocket Size Options

2" pole pocket - fits a 3/4" diameter pole.

3" pole pocket - fits a 1 1/4" diameter pole.

4" pole pocket - fits a 1 1/2" diameter pole.

Payment

All banners must be paid for priot to being put into production. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. We also accept checks, which must be received before your order isput into production. For more information on check order, see this article on our blog.

We will not charge your credit card until you have approved your order.

Shipping

General Shipping Guidelines

If you have any questions about shipping, please contact customer service at (320) 391-5300 prior to ordering. Unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering, your order will be shippid via UPS Ground. We offer a 1–3 day ground shipment to 90% of the United States.

You will receive a tracking number once your package has been shipped.

Shipping prices are determined by the weight and destination of the package. Additional shipping charges apply to large orders.

After products have shipped, all shipping company terms and conditionals apply for lost or delayed packages. We will not refund the banner cost if UPS or any other shipping company has a delay in your package.

Delays due to natural disasters, or anything beyond our control, will not result in shipping refunds. If the product is damaged in shipping, damaged goods must be returned, and then a replacement product will be sent.

Lost packages will be replaced after the shipping company confirms loss. This generally takes 7–10 business days after initial scheduled delivery.

Banners.com ships throughout the United States and Internationally. Please note: all international shipments must have shipping labels as well as customs documentation provided by the customers. We will only accept international shipping labels from the following carriers, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Contact a customer service rep today for more information

Economy Shipping

Installation & Product Care FAQs

How do I clean my banner?

Your custom banner might require occasional cleaning. If you are going to wash your banner, use lukewarm water. You can add dish soap to the water. You should only use soft towels to avoid scratching the banner and ruining the prints.

How do I remove wrinkles from my vinyl banner?

After receiving your vinyl banner, you may notice it has some creases or wrinkles. This is due to it being rolled up and stored for shipping. If you wish to get rid of these unsightly wrinkles from your custom vinyl banner, we recommend two options.

The first and least hands-on approach is to simply unroll your vinyl banners and place them in the hot sun for a few hours and the wrinkles should come out.

The second option is more of a hands-on approach, and we recommend using a clothing steamer with a refillable water tank. Simply just use the steamer much like you would with a piece of clothing and this steamer should take the wrinkles right out!
