Birthday Banners Materials
Birthday Banners are printed on high quality 13 oz scrim vinyl banner material. The scrim vinyl is a woven fiber inside the material that gives the banner extra strength. You can use banners indoors and outdoors for many different occasions.

Birthday Banner Printing
Birthday banners are digitally printed in full color. You can select one of our banner templates to customize in the online designer with our backgrounds, clip art, and text. You can also upload your own images.
Birthday Banner Sizes
Exact sizes of banners cannot be guaranteed. Vinyl is a temperature sensitive material, and some fluctuation can occur due to heat application in printing, finishing, and outside climate. Please note our acceptable size variance is up to 1/2 inch per linear foot (ex. A 5 ft banner could finish with a 2.5 inch variance). If your banner size needs to be precise, please ask your Customer Service Representative to discuss your specific application.
The maximum print for double sided banners is 150 square feet. If your banner is over 150 square feet, please contact us.

Artwork Guidelines
Files that print best are .eps files converted to outline. We can also print high resolution .pdf, .tif, and .jpg formats. If you don’t have access to or are unsure if you have a high-resolution file, our professional graphic designers will be happy to assist with this.
Order Proofs
If you are looking to be able to give your order one last look and make sure all the information and images are correct, requesting an order proof will allow you that benefit. Your order proof will include a low-resolution image of your artwork, a summary of your order including pricing, and your billing and shipping information. Please note if you receive a proof, you will need to email or call back your customer service representative with approval before your order will go into production.
Color Match Proof System
If your project is color critical, we highly recommend using our Color Match Proof System, as this is the best way to ensure the color match for your specific project. Birthday Banner Finishing Options
The standard finishing option for Birthday banners is heat welded hems and grommets every 2-4 feet around the banner perimeter. You will not need to add any bleeds on your artwork. We will add the extra material when we print your banner.
Additional Finishing Options
- 2" Pole Pockets - fits a pole 3/4" in diameter
- 3" Pole Pockets - fits a pole 1 1/4" in diameter
- 4" Pole Pockets - fits a pole 1 1/2" in diameter
- Reinforced Corners
- Reinforced Hems
By selecting pole pockets, there will be no increase in the finished size of your banner. Pole pockets can either be 2", 3" or 4". We don't recommend having any text or images within 3 inches of the edge of the banner when you select pole pockets.
**Pole Pockets are not available with reinforced hems or corners. Reinforced corners are not available on banners under 2 feet in height.

2 Sided Banner Finishing
We can finish 2 sided banners up to 150 square feet. For anything larger, please contact us. Double sided banners can only have pole pockets or hems and grommet finishing.

Payment Information
All birthday banners must be paid for prior to being put into production. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. We also accept checks. Checks must be received before your order is put into production. For more information on check orders, see our blog. If you have a purchase order, please contact a customer service representative for your options.
We will not charge your credit card until you have approved your proof for your order.

Shipping Information
All standard banners are rolled, bagged, and placed into a shipping box which are then shipped via UPS. Please specify which shipping method you would like when you place your order. We offer a 1-3 day ground shipment to 90% of the United States. Click here for more information about our standard and oversized vinyl banner shipping times. We offer the following shipping methods:
- Economy (5-10 Business Days)
- Standard (3-5 Business Days)
- Three Day (3 Business Days)
- Two Day (2 Business Days)
- Overnight (1 Business Day)
- Freight
Shipping prices are determined by the weight of the package and the destination. Additional shipping charges apply to large orders and over-sized packages. Please note, due to UPS shipping restrictions, banners that exceed 8' in both directions will generally be folded for shipping (billboards, large backdrops etc.)

You will receive a tracking number once your package has been shipped.
After products have shipped, all shipping company terms and conditions apply for lost or delayed packages. We will not refund the banner cost if any shipping company has a delay in your package. We recommend ordering your banners early.
Delays because of Acts of God or anything beyond our control will not result in shipping refunds. If the product is damaged in shipping, damaged goods must be returned, and then a replacement product will be sent.
Lost packages will be replaced after the shipping company confirms loss. This generally takes 7-10 business days after initial scheduled delivery.
Banners.com ships throughout the United States and Internationally. Please note: all international shipments must have shipping labels as well as customs documentation provided by the customers. We will only accept international shipping labels from the following carriers, USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Contact a customer service rep today for more information
Please order your banners early as we cannot control delivery after your product leaves our production facilities.
Economy Shipping
If choosing economy shipping please add in additional postal information such as P.O. Box in the "Address Two" field on the checkout page to help ensure delivery.
Using economy shipping can also add an additional 5 - 10 days, depending on where the package is being shipped to.

We provide flexible production time ranges for you to choose from. Because it's important for you to have ultimate control over your order, our production times range from one to five business days. This allows you to make the final decision on when you need your order.
1 Business Day Priority:
Timelines can be tight. That's why we offer this zippy one day turnaround option.
